Free Spirit Mortgages was founded to offer specialist advice to contractors, freelancers and the wider self-employed. As a contractor or business owner you’ll know that the mortgage market isn’t user friendly for those who’s income falls outside the norm. Being self-employed ourselves we understand the frustration when how you choose to work becomes a barrier to home ownership or leaves you feeling that you are locked out of the mortgage market.
It doesn’t need to be this way and our mission at Free Spirit is to get you the right specialist advice to access the host of mortgage solutions available to you when you choose to work for yourself. We are here to help save you time, reduce your stress and get your mortgage approved.
We have years of experience working with day rate contractors, freelances and other self-employed clients. Working in this area means we have the knowledge and connections required to secure your mortgage.
Neil Tarbet
Neil has worked in property and finance since 2004, self-employed since 2018 he loves the freedom and flexibility this offers. Starting in mortgages at a firm specialising in contractors Neil has continued to work with these clients whilst expanding his knowledge to offer specialist advice to the wider self-employed community.
When not at work you’ll find him out and about enjoying the Norfolk countryside most likely on his bike or paddleboard.
